November 25, Kathmandu-

The voice for a peaceful, pluralistic, civic liberties protecting political party, espousing consitutionalism and limited government and capitalism is now a reality in Nepali politics crowded with too many leftist and communist forces on the one hand, and regressive, religious nationliast forces on the other.

This was made eveident by the addresses made the Spokesperson, General Secretary and the Chairperson of Janajagaran Party Nepal today at Maitighar Mandala, during a peaceful protest and memorandum programme organized by the same.

Among others, the party accentuated freedom of faith or belief, total press and publication freedom, welfare programmes, and end to casteist discrimination.

Party leaders demanded for immediate release of pastor Keshav Acharya who has been facing multiple charges from at least three locations for a false allegation of conversion effort.

Similarly, chiefs of various departments like Slum Dwellers and Landless People Front, Muslim Welfare Front etc also addressed the programme.
