Broadcasting the Message of Hope: MOH Nepal

Message of Hope Nepal observed its 15 years of media ministry in a special programme and AGM held today at Nuri91 Cafe in Lalitpur.
After a brief welcome speech by Founding Chairman Revd. Dr. Simon Pandey, following a beautiful worship by MoHN staff team of Sangita, Sunita, Bindu, Deepak and Aashish- Vice-chair Revd. Indra Thapa shared from Matthew 6:25-33 and challenged the attendees to have total dependence in the provision of the Lord, worry less, work diligently, and make peace and progress. We struggle for progress; life is not naive and fair, even a new-born baby has to cry and let his mother know he is hungry and demand sucking from his mother; but we are not to get tired and disheartened but seek and ask get inner restedness and peace, he further exegeted.
  
Executive Director Shanti Pandey presented the Progress Report, and outlined the 3-5 years plan. MOHN ministries include Radio broadcast, TV broadcast, online radio, daily devitional publication The Word For Today, among others. “Trusted Christian Media” has been the aspired and attained motto of the ministry. The programme was emceed by MOHN Secretary Keshab Luitel who is a name needing no introduction in media ministry.
Asha Nepali Gurung, MoHN Treasurer presented fiscal details, and the overall organizational vision, mission and programme was outlined by Anubhaw Sharma Adhikari.

Apart from radio ministry MoHN has been publishing devotional books called The Word For Today (आजको वचन) every quarter since 2014, which is being published biannually since last year. The purpose of this book is to help the Christian in their spiritual growth on daily basis.

MoHN also runs a Television program Wastabikata, (The Reality) since 2016. Currently, it airs every Saturday morning at 6:30 am for 25 minutes through NTV (Nepal Television).

MoHN own audio-video recording and editing studio for alomost all kinds of audio-visual services.
