China-India border tensions boiled over again this weekend, following June’s deadly clashes. While India’s Defense Ministry said that the Chinese Army “carried out provocative military movements” near Pangong Tso Lake in the remote Ladakh region, China accused Indian troops of illegally trespassing onto its territory, adding that China has never “taken an inch of land from others over the past 70 years.” Can tensions between the two countries de-escalate any time soon?
