National Sanatan Dharma-Culture Conference held: Call for a Hindu Nation-

Resolutions and Demands with the Governments made

Kathmandu, December 23 –

National Sanatan Dharma Culture Conference which lasted for two days from December 20 and 21 has concluded amidst rage and rancor: rage against the ruling establishment and non-Sanatan sects; rancor within various interest groups and personalities who took jibe at one another. But all agreed on one point: that secularism should be thrown out and Nepal should be declared a Hindu Nation. Interestingly enough, the declaration and the demand does not reference anything at all about monarchy. Typically, the demand for Hindu Nation would include the Hindu Monarchy.

The conference, organized by National Federation of Sanatan Dharma Culture attended by representatives from various districts of the country, has resolved to be committed by heart, word and deed to the re-establishment of the Sanatan (eternal) Hindu nation with equality of all religions and complete religious freedom. The conference has also requested all parties concerned to establish Sanatan Hindu Rashtra on the basis of all-party consensus.

The conference expressed deep concern about the ‘alleged’ organized and planned conversions that are displacing the Sanatan Dharma culture and demanded the government to take immediate and effective steps to control the conversion of religions prohibited by the constitution and laws. As the current constitution of Nepal stipulates that it is the government’s responsibility to protect the tradition of religion and culture, the conference has demanded that a committee be formed immediately to study and submit a report with suggestions as to why there is widespread conversion of religion and what needs to be done to solve it. .

Due to the fact that socio-cultural differences, untouchability and superstitions under the guise of religious culture are weakening the ancient religious culture and are also the main cause of religious conversion, the conference has drawn the attention of all parties concerned to solve these problems and challenges.; especially religious organizations and religious figures should play a leading role in this work, the conference emphasized.

The conference has called for unity, coordination and cooperation among all religious organizations, religious gurus, Swami, Pandits to constitutionally re-establish the identity of Sanatan Hindu nation and stop the attack on Sanatan Dharma culture and tradition. Similarly, the conference has requested all the municipalities of the country to build at least one gaushala in each municipality for the protection of 40 cows.

Contrary to public opinion, the political parties declared a secular nation in 2015, September 20; so the decision to ‘mark the same as a ‘black day’.

National Conference of Religious Organization and Associations – 2024: Decisions:

The conference of more than 200 religious organizations passed various working papers with amendments as suggested and concluded with 13 points of demand from the government along with the following main decisions.

1. Respecting sacrifices, dedication character, the scholars in the classical thought and considering saintly society as ideal, the common eternal heritage of religious associations, institutions, committees, gurukuls, ashrams, councils, federations, chaityas, viharas, monasteries, akhadas, dhunis, cowsheds, monasteries, temples etc.;  decision was made with the resolution to organize and work together to protect it.

9. From historical and classical basis, Nepal is the main center of Sanatan Hindu culture. On this basis, Nepal became a nation. However, contrary to public opinion, political parties declared a secular nation on September 20, 2015 (Asoj 3, 2072), as it was an insult to the citizens who believe in all religions, so it was decided that October 3 would be celebrated as a black day until all Sanatan Omkar families would not eat food on that day.

The demands of the religious sector with the government will be as follows:-

1. Religious heritages such as monasteries, temples, temples, monasteries, etc. in Nepal should be operated only under the management and leadership of the respective religious community. We strongly demand to stop Sanatan Dharma people and political appointments in this area.
2. The field of education, health and security provided to the citizens should be made a non-profit sector. We demand to declare all kinds of tax-free zones in all areas including ashrams, monasteries and temples of the Omkar family’s religious faith.
3. When the religious monasteries, temples, ashrams and guthis of the Omkar family are registered with the government agencies, foreign NGOs, Ingos and non-profit companies are registered at the same place, so we request to change this policy and arrange for separate registration for the Omkar family.
4. The representatives of various religious sects operating from the country and abroad are continuously protesting against the local customs, culture and ancient traditions, changing customs, culture and traditions and inciting social harmony.
5. Even though the law of the country provides strict action against those who protect the cow family and cause the killing of the cow family, we demand that the entire incident should be investigated and action should be taken as the whole country is being killed with the wrong intention of inciting the Hindus and avoiding legal action. In addition, provision should be made for the mandatory allocation of cow grazing areas in community forests for the local agricultural system and the protection of the cow lineage.
6. Vedic Sanatan Dharma believes in the tradition of preserving all indigenous religion, culture, customs, art, language and dress. Therefore, we demand that the education of Sanskrit, ethics, geography and history and the importance of native religious, cultural and tribal traditions of all Nepalis should be made mandatory in the educational field by creating a curriculum according to the situation of each community.
7. To use Nepali language, traditions and costumes while making government documents. Stop wearing Tika and cap while making passport, stop wearing jewelry on national identity card, wipe Tika and Tilak. Providing other necessary national facilities within citizenship. We request to make arrangements to open the identification of the clan identity of all types of Nepalese in the citizenship, to provide the facility of writing the gotra to reveal the lineage.
8. Use Nepali language in the language of government work. As they have started giving the documents in all foreign languages and samvat, such as the correction of the vehicle license for keeping only English, the records given when depositing money in the bank should be corrected by the Rashtra Bank itself. Also, we request you to pay attention to other tasks as well.
9. Demanding to develop Nepal as a cultural, religious and natural and internal and external tourist destination, we demand to prevent the sale and distribution of Ammal products to create a sattvic environment around the temple. We demand that all kinds of violence in the country should be stopped on major festivals like Ekadashi and Aunsi and mass-liquor shops should be closed.
10. We demand that the employees of the government of Nepal and the employees working in the monasteries and temples and funds etc. operated under the protection of the government or the representatives of the religious groups must wear the indigenous costumes according to the relevant traditions.
11. We request that the revenue of the monasteries, temples, ashrams, guthis and monasteries run by the Nepalese government and related communities should be spent only on things that have eternal values such as schools, cowsheds, yajnashalas, dispensaries, restaurants, libraries.
12. Changing the river flow of pilgrimage sites against tradition to turn Guthi and Math temples into commercial centers, causing encroachment on temple areas, flooding pilgrimage sites in the name of development, demolishing temples on the way in the name of road construction, not listening to local residents, and making decisions unilaterally by the state without coordinating with the religious sector. We demand to stop the work.
Special Offer :-
13. Since Sanatan Hinduism is not limited to any one deity, book and guru and represents the whole Omkar family (Panchayan Pujak, Shaiva, Shakta, Vaishnava, Nath, Sikh, Jain, Kirant, Buddhist, Won) and so on, Nepal remains a religiously Sanatan Hindu nation. We strongly request to do so.
(Note:- In order to cooperate with the religious sector, the parties operating in Nepal must include our demands in their manifesto. Our demands must be implemented during their leadership.)
