IPFN Celebrates Christmas Greetings Exchange programme

-Meaning and Message of Peace and Redemption explained

December 22, Kathmandu-

Interfaith Peace Federation- Nepal organized a Christmas Celebration and Greetings Exchange programme today at its office premises at Kalanki, Kathmandu.

Emceed by Programme Manager Bimala Shrestha of IPFN and welcome addressed by IPFN Secretary Ram Chandra Bhattarai, Ithe event started with prayer by the Buddhist Bhikshu.

IPFN General Secretary Dr. Mahendra Bhattarai presided over the programme and also shared a brife Christmas message. He explained that the Advent, taking on of the human form by Son the God, made it possible for him to be a perfect atoning sacrifice so that the justice of God could be satisfied and humanity be expiated of its sin.

The message was followed by greetings expresskion by IPFN Secretary R. C. Bhattarai, Buddhist leader, Nazarul Hussein from Muslim community, and Prof. Lal Kumari Gurung from Satya Sai.

The leaders once again emphasized the importance of understanding other faiths and seeking common ground for greater good of humanity.
