“Retribution through Success”- Trump Crushes a derailed Biden in Debate:

Democrats in panic mode; talks and suggestion for replacing Biden in the air

June 29-

Former US president Donald Trump has been repeating the phrase “Retribution is a great success,” and he seems to be actualizing that.

If Joe Biden loses November’s election, history will record that it took just 10 minutes to destroy a presidency.

It was clear a political disaster was about to unfold as soon as the 81-year-old commander in chief stiffly shuffled on stage in Atlanta to stand eight feet from ex-President Donald Trump at what may turn into the most fateful presidential debate in history.

Objectively, Biden produced the weakest performance since John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon started the tradition of televised debates in 1960 — then, as on Thursday, in a television studio with no audience. – These were the word at CNN, and we though what better assessment to begin this coverage!

“Biden is beyond incoherent. He looks old and weak.”

Someone added, “CNN accidentally helped Trump.”

Looking at the debate, many believe that Biden won’t be able to finish a second term- meaning, he won’t be alive. That’s a really bleak view, and is going to hurt the Democratic Party badly, ensuring Trump’s victory for the second time in the third attempt.
Here is what The Wall Street Journal wrote about the debate:

“In the first presidential debate of the 2024 campaign, President Biden gave the kind of delivery that Democrats feared, one that lacked vigor and combativeness. Trump, meanwhile, uncharacteristically was able to keep his composure in a 90-minute show that brimmed with insults and policy contrasts. The highlights:

Trump said that if he is re-elected he would secure the release of Evan Gershkovich, a WSJ journalist who has been detained in Russia on false accusations of espionage.

Trump avoided giving direct answers to questions posed, maintaining relative discipline, while Biden at times appeared to lose his train of thought and struggled to allay concerns about his age.

Deflecting the topic of his felony conviction, Trump tried to turn attention to Hunter Biden, the president’s son.

Trump appeared to commit to allowing the abortion pill to remain available. Biden said he supports the Roe v. Wade framework, which allowed abortion until viability until it was struck down by the Supreme Court.

The two presumptive nominees sparred over Ukraine, with Trump blaming Biden for Russia’s invasion and criticizing the amount of aid the U.S. is providing.”

Many other media also owned up to the seen, visible fact that Biden could not maintain a normal physical and mental posture  of well being. Here is what the BBC wrote, “The president came into the debate with a low bar to clear, and he stumbled. He was flat. He was rambling. He was unclear.

About midway through the debate, the Biden campaign said that the president was battling a cold – an attempt to explain his raspy voice. That may be so, but it also sounded like an excuse.

For 90 minutes, more often than not, he was on the ropes. Particularly early in the evening, some of his answers were nonsensical. After losing his train of thought he ended one answer by saying, “We finally beat Medicare” – an odd reference to the government-run healthcare programme for the elderly.”

Someone commented, “Trump won that debate so strongly he could’ve been charged with Elderly abuse.”

That the first few topics raised by CNN’s moderators were on the top voter issues of economy and immigration – which polls show Americans trust Trump more on – only made the problem worse for the president, however.

“I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence, and I don’t think he did, either,” Trump said after another Biden response. That line may have summed up the night.

Joe Biden’s uneven — and at times incoherent — debate performance Thursday reportedly has triggered panic in Democratic circles as it could result in an insurmountable lead for Donald Trump and a Republican victory in November’s vote.

Some had expected that Trump would be facing three opponents all at once- two CNN moderators Dana Bash and Jake Tapper, in addition to Biden. But largely to their credit, the moderators did excellent by not interrupting Trump and not siding with Biden unduly.
Interestingly, Joe Biden was at the Camp David presidential retreat for a whole week, getting rested and preparing for this very debate. Speaking in Philadelphia, Trump has said much of the prep was likely coming in the form of “sleeping…because they want to get him good and strong.” While Biden’s prep includes mock debates with a Trump stand-in, Trump’s preparation has centered on receiving policy briefings from a variety of allies.
