State of the Nation: Moving towards perversion and lawlessness?!
What can the faith community, the Ecclesia do?

Last months there were some leadership conferences in the capitol, where church leaders came together to learn, pray, deliberate and strategize regarding the burning issues facing the nation of Nepal today, and the nations across the globe.
The issues, specifically, were so foundational that they determine the very existence of a nation and continuation of human race and civilization itself!
Issues like beginning and end of life, family, sexuality and gender confusion/madness, and the gospel culture which actually permeates all areas of life- every inch of the earth, in fact.
Christian Concern UK Founding Director Andrea Williams brought a sobering message and a shocking state of the nation report from UK and the West where it is now illegal and criminal to speak scriptural truth, the message of righteousness, repentance from sin, and the sovereignty of God and the lordship of Jesus Christ. The same Judeo-Christian culture and civilization that gave the freedom, human rights and liberties to all and every kind of faiths to flourish there, the same culture is put to shame, is penalized, is under the threat of erasure, so to speak.
Civic Concern Nepal (CCN), an entity that is established to work in the field of health, education and national development projects, as well as address ethical practical issues faced by the society today, including but not limited to same sex union, abortion, transgenderism, and related aberration organized the very first public live debate back in April, in collaboration with MAF Nepal.
The conferences and symposium were focused on grasping the enormity and seriousness of the transgender and same sex union movement, commonly subsumed under the rubric LGBTQIA+.
The issue was looked at from ethical/scriptural, legal, sociological, child rights and practical standpoints. There was little support to such blatant argument as a man can be a woman, that there are many, dozens of genders and/or pronouns; that same sex union can be called and legalized as ‘marriage’, etc. Abortion, another burning ethical issue was also examined, and all agreed that it is sinful act, murder of unborn babies.

CCN has been in communication with faith, interfaith leaders, advocates, media persons and actors in society about how to address, redress and manage these crucial issues from an ethical, pragmatic and productive angle.
