JB Parlor holds 6th Graduation and Book Launching Ceremony:
Chief Guest Hon'ble Raghu Nath Maharjan appreciates job creation and service!

J.B. Parlor and Training Center’s sixth graduation ceremony concluded in grand style, book on beautician and parlor also released.
The sixth convocation ceremony of J.B. Parlor and Training Center, organized at Quality Foodland and Banquet in Ekantakuna, Lalitpur, has concluded in a grand style. On the occasion, a book on beauty arts and professions, “Beauty Parlor Handbook: Beauty Tips, Training Skills and Theory,” written by the parlor’s proprietor Januka Bhattarai, was also released.
The chief guest of the program was Bagmati Province Assembly member Honorable Raghunath Maharjan. The program was attended by Sangita Achhami, Ward Member and Child Rights Coordinator of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Ward No. 14, Draupadi Rokaya, President of YWCA Nepal, Bimala Thapa, Executive Director of Asha Nepal, Sangita Rai of International Needs Network Nepal, Ritu Shrestha, Executive Director of One Love One World, and Bijata Luitel Adhikari, Executive Director of Sundar Dhoka Sathi Sewa, among other special guests. The guests jointly released the book and praised J.B. Parlor as a strong example of women entrepreneurship and vocational training.
Graduate Salina Bogati performed the welcome dance at the program, while other graduates shared their knowledge, skills, and service-oriented experiences with the audience.
Book editor Bidur Adhikari conducted the program. BTCN’s Manju Khatri, Christina Subedi, Atomy Nepal’s contact person Jamuna Thapa, and representatives from various sectors also spoke at the program.
At the convocation ceremony, certificates were distributed to about three dozen graduates, dressed in uniform saris and graduation hats. The guests expressed their happiness at the skills and confidence of the trainees.
The parlor has provided skill-based training to more than a hundred women over the past seven years.
In the closing remarks, proprietor Januka Bhattarai shared the journey, challenges and successes of the organization so far and expressed her commitment to prioritize women empowerment and skill-based education in the future as well.
