Demonstration Program going to be held at Maitighar Mandala-
Attackers on churches, Dalits and Women are warned!
Kathmandu, September 4-
A demonstration and “Khabardari corner assembly” programme is going to be held at the heart of the capital, Maitighar Mandala.
Recently, there has been a sharp rise on rape and murder of women and girls, esp. from the backward communities, Dalist and poor families. Similarly, places of worship like churches have been vandalized, locked and pelted with stones, even razed by bulldozers!
In the face of such inhuman, unjust and human rights and human life violating crimes, Aamool Pariwartan Nagarik Party has called for the demonstration, with participation from networks, rights activists, identity-ist fronts, Dalitt community, and the church community, among others.
“It will be a warning and a blow to the communalists and criminals,” claimed a party official.

Invitation to the vigilance and protest program
In relation to the above, in recent times there have been reports of attacks, vandalism and locking of holy places of worship in various parts of the country in a well-planned manner at the instigation of some extremist communal groups. On the other hand, serious crimes such as rape, kidnapping and murder of women and children are increasing. Also, cases of extreme caste discrimination and violence and murders against the Dalit craft community are increasing.
Therefore, warning stakeholders and state authorities against all forms of discrimination, caste, gender and communal violence, demanding immediate strict legal action against the guilty criminals and justice for the victims, we are going to organize a protest demonstration and vigilance meeting at the following date, place and time. We sincerely invite you.
