Trump vs Budde Debate: What does the Bible say about Nations and Borders?

Does the Bible support national borders, nationalism and patriotism? The question is once again brought to the forefront with Trump’s second term as the president of America, and his strong border and immigration policies. Therefore, we have placed some scriptures here, for your perusal and consideration; we don’t make any verdicts now. – Editor

Let’s begin with the book of all beginnings- Genesis itself!

Genesis 10:32

These are the families of the sons of Noah, according to their genealogies, by their nations; and out of these the nations were separated on the earth after the flood.

Genesis 11:1-9

Now the whole earth had one language and the same words. And as people migrated from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. And they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.” And they had brick for stone, and bitumen for mortar.
