APN Party Secretariat Committee Meeting Held amidst Tussle:

APNP, also known as Aamool Pariwantan Nagarik Party – the proposed party to be registered in this new name with the merger of APRP (Aamool Pariartan Republican Parry) and UCP (United Civic Party), held its Secretariat meeting yesterday at its party office in Bijulivazaar, Kathmandu.

Party chairman Dal Mardan Kami presented a four-page political report on the achievements of the six-month work since the merger of the Amul Parivartan Nagarik Party and the upcoming strategy. The leaders present at the meeting discussed and reviewed the report in detail and said that important decisions have been made, including immediately going to the Election Commission for unity to give legitimacy to the party merger.

Kami’s report also states that the old and status quo parties like the Congress, UML, Maoists and Rastriya Samajwadi Party are considering the Amul Parivartan Nagarik Party as a big challenge and competitor, and parties like the RPP that are against federalism, democracy, secularism and proportional inclusion are considering their party as an enemy.

Addressing the party leaders present at the meeting, Chairman Kami thanked them and said that the strong foundation of democracy is that criticism and self-criticism among leaders and workers is an important aspect of strengthening the party organization and the best aspect of the democratic system. He said that all leaders and workers should become responsible and hardworking. The party should be strong. The system of leaders being masters and workers being slaves has ended. In a democratic system, it is necessary to be servants, not leaders. If leaders and workers are honest, combative and hardworking, the party will be strong. When the party becomes strong, it will be able to win the trust of the people and lead the country and make it prosperous.

The meeting decided to finalize and finalize the unity process between the Radical/Drastic Change Republican Party and the United Citizens Party by immediately preparing regulations, manifesto, and statute and updating them at the Election Commission. The party’s statute, manifesto, and statute preparation committee has set a deadline to prepare the documents by Chaitra 15, and the meeting will update the documents with the agreement of both parties by the third week of Chaitra, Deputy General Secretary Bidur Adhikari, who conducted the proceedings, to the reporters.
