The Aamul Parivartan Nagarik Party, founded on the basis of equality, justice and inclusive democracy, today held a historic expanded meeting to reorganize the organization and make public its upcoming elections and long-term political direction.

Due to internal disputes, divisive intentions and uncooperative behavior within the “Amul Parivartan Nagarik Party”, formed after the merger of the United Citizens Party of Nepal, which carries a clear agenda of social justice, equality and inclusive leadership, and the Amul Parivartan Republican Party, the party has decided to move forward by keeping the party’s second chairman Bharat Giri and vice chairman Bishnu Ratna Lama aside from the party leadership and taking all the leaders and activists associated with the “Amul Parivartan Nagarik Party” with them.

Chairman Dal Mardan Kami reiterated his commitment to take the United Citizen Party forward by adopting all-ethnic inclusive social democracy as a guiding principle and ensuring representation of all communities including ethnic, religious minorities, oppressed, marginalized, Dalit, indigenous peoples, Madhesi, Tharu, women.

Through the political report presented by Chairman Kami, the party has put forward the concept of alternative governance systems such as a proportional parliament based on ethnic population, a directly elected prime minister, and a cyclical presidential election.

The party has announced that it will be conducting productive programs with supporting industrialists and businessmen, and an action plan for public awareness campaigns and organizational strengthening targeting the upcoming elections has been made public.

At the meeting, party chairman Dal Mardan Kami said, “This report is not just a document, but a roadmap for building an inclusive and equitable new Nepal,” and expressed his determination to expand the party network across the country and make the 2084 elections “the beginning of a new era.”

The party has also put forward a proposal for open dialogue with parties, groups and activists who share common values ​​for alliances and cooperation, appealing to all Nepalis to participate in the new era campaign based on inclusiveness, transparency and national interest.
